Liverpool and Queens General Hospital have been chosen by Dalhousie Medical School to participate in the LIC Program. In this program 3rd year Dalhousie Medical Students spend their entire 3rd year learning and living in a community setting.
The Queens General Hospital has new space for clinical or administrative use, thanks to the Queens General Hospital Foundation and members of the community who have supported the Foundation through their generous donations. The Foundation, which has supported the Queens General Hospital since 1988, has consistently supplied equipment, funded renovations and more recently helped recruit physicians and key health care workers for the hospital. Now, with the purchase of an adjacent building, the hospital has more flexibility to locate clinical services when needed.
The radiology department at Queens General Hospital (QGH) has been renovated to allow for the installation of new state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine, providing exceptional care for patients while producing better image quality. A celebration event for donors, staff and other stakeholders took place on Tuesday.
