Queens General Hospital Foundation purchases new building for Community

The Queens General Hospital has new space for clinical or administrative use, thanks to the Queens General Hospital Foundation and members of the community who have supported the Foundation through their generous donations. The Foundation, which has supported the Queens General Hospital since 1988, has consistently supplied equipment, funded renovations and more recently helped recruit physicians and key health care workers for the hospital. Now, with the purchase of an adjacent building, the hospital has more flexibility to locate clinical services when needed.

Renowned artist brings life to Queens General Hospital

Eight years ago, English-Canadian artist David Wright moved to Liverpool from Ontario. After hearing from his friend about the outstanding hospital in the community, David knew he wanted to do something to give back. In the hopes of creating a more enjoyable hospital environment for patients, staff and visitors, David has proudly donated two of his paintings to the Queens General Hospital, with the help of Dr. Doucet, Chair of the Queens General Hospital Foundation.
